This excursion offers a perfect alternative to the beach, immersing you in the calm river tributaries and serene mangrove forests near the coast. It's an ideal choice for birdwatching and experiencing the abundant wildlife of The Gambia.
Witness Abundant Wildlife: Expect to see numerous species of birds (especially at the nearby Tanji Bird Reserve, home to over 600 species), monkeys, and other small animals.
Early Morning Start: Begin your memorable journey at sunrise over the waterways.
Choose Your Ride: You can relax in a canoe while your guide paddles, or take a more active approach by kayaking alongside your guide. (The canoe is recommended for photographers).
